My own freedom

To have a own company is great (most of the times). I can choose if I want to work almost whenever I want to and rest of the time I can just relax, take a glass of wine and eat good food, training, cuttle with the animals on the farm or whatever I feel to do.

Tonight is it thaiboxing again. My back is still not so good (Eirik, the thaiboxing-coach who also is fysiotherapeut- think it is a prolaps in the lower back) so I will only keep taking it easy until it is all good again.

Now it´s time for coffee and cakes- my lovely man just came home fast before he will go and teach! Ciao!

The gypsy-couple goes Norway!

Bye Sweden. Now we goes to Norway! It’s fun- the last 3 (?) weeks we’ve been in 3 different countries; Portugal, Sweden and now today Norway. And to travel like this with my love, Tiago, is amazing!

We joke and call ourselves for the “gypsy couple“; We’re always on our way somewhere and with bags on our backs. Hehe. In Norway we will be training (mma, bjj, sw, boxing, kickboxing etc) and enjoying the nature. It will be great. I will keep you updated with pictures when I am at the hotel with internet!

Stretching-day

My back if a bit sour today so I took it easy at todays training: only warm-up with the row-machine and stretching. Or, I did some training for my calfs and abdominis as well but only light training more for the bloodcirculation.

I´ve had some tough days the latest. Sleep and dream bad, short patience, dont eat so good etc… Not so fantastic no. But it is just to keep on going forward and do the best I can in all situations. The good thing with some “bad” days is that I at least is learning from it even if it is frustrated to feel “bad”. 😉

Time to plan the music for the tomorrows dance class!

Creative combinations

I love exercises where you are training more than only one musclegroup at the same time!

Combinations of dynamical movements- Mmm, yummie for the body (and mind!)! Martial arts, dance and acrobatics has been my passion my whole life and it expects your body to perfom in “all” angels and be strong and functional. So because of that I started to be more creative, more simple or advanced, in my normal workouts so I could work with the “whole” body at the same time; exactly what you need most of the times in all my “passion-sports”.

Yesterday I did a “simple” workout focusing on triceps and abdominis. One of the exercises was as you can see at the pictures below:Image

Step 1: Place your body as picture above with only your heals touching the boll.

Step 2: Bend your arms as picture and let your triceps workout.

Step 3: Straight your right leg so your calf touching the boll. At the same time you straight your left leg and lift it up against the roof as much as you can (and still keeping your arms bended) for 10-15 seconds.

Step 4: Put back the leg on the boll and put your body as the positions of step 2 and then to step 1. Now – Repeat all the steps (but lift the other leg so both legs get to training). Do this 3×10 each leg.
