Pictures from Crossfit-competition yesterday!

Here you get some photos from the small crossfit-competition here in Portugal in our gym Scape. And both Nuno the brother of Tiago and Tiago himself was also competing so that was fun to be in the same competition together as both of them. And as Tiago said about him and me: “This was the first of many competitions that we will do together baby!” 🙂 ❤

Competing in crossfit at saturday?

On saturday there is a small competition here in our city in Portugal. It is kind of crossfit but they call it Scape-fit instead because it is only a comeptition for everyone who is members in the gym here, named Scape.

I have only been training two times the last 5 weeks of different reasons. I tried yesterday to go trough the exercises we are gonna do and even i it is really a small and “easy” competition it is hard for me with my asthma (and the asthma get reeeally bad when I push to much!!). I almost couldn´t breethe yesterday. AND I forgot my asthma-medicine so it was extra hard for me… but today I will relax and tomorrow I will do one more training and at thursday as well. So then I will at least have 4 trainingsessions before the competition in the last 6 weeks.. Haha! =P But my goal is to just complete it on saturday. Without fall apart without breething! 😉 So health and body before number one at the pricepall.

But of course- I have a competition-mind so if I would get number one- of course I would prefere and appreciate that! So we will see how it goes… I will keep you updated!

Over one hour in the water

Last training was in the pool. One hour and ten minutes in the water to be precise. Great training that my body soooo need…

And here in Portugal you need to have this nice swimming cap when you are in the pool. In sweden it is no need to have it so for me- this was the first time that I became this “good looking”! ;-P Haha!

Below: I was a bit sour in my back after the back & neck-workout I did the day before my pool training… But it feels good today. I LOVE to be in water- I feel safe, happy and in a good mood everytime I am in the water. ❤ After all this I took sauna 25 minutes. Lovely. ❤

Superman (women) with weights!

Yesterdays training was for my back. I did the boring gym-machines (it so boring but I need it!) and ended with some more fun exercises as Superman (women!) on a “half ball” with 3kg dumbbells each hand and 2 kg weights on each footwrist.

And after that, some “superwomen” with twisting my upperbody as much as I could and with straight arms. Tough one, for the whole body! But fun! 😉

Ps. It has been storm here in Portugal tonight with a tornardo!! I will put out some pictures tonight or tomorrow. And from the training I did today in the pool.

 

I make Portugal dance!

Second dance class I gived here in Portugal today. I was a bit nervous if the people liked it the last time or not. “Will it come any people at all this class? Maybe they didn´t like it last time..?” went my toughts before the class today. But two minutes before it started people dropped in and soon there was more people than last class!

So the class went great and people laught, had fun and danced. They was happy and so was I. Mission completed. For this time at least. ;-P

Legs & deadlifts

Legs and deadlifts on the scheduele today. First some warmup and the treadmill following by machines for my legs 3×10 or 3×15 depend on what exercise. After this it was time for deadlifts. Actually, it is my first time that I am doing deathlifts. And becuase my back is not so strong yet and it´s the first time I do the exercise, I did it with very light weigths and slow so I could focus 100% on the techniques and breething. Tiago helped me of course. Thank you baby! 😉

The first PT-session with my mother in law

Today was the first PT-hour that Maria, my mother in law, had with me. Last time we met was to do tests, measures etc. But today it was time for the training I put up for her! And she did sooo great!! I am so proud over her! She impressed me a lot and I am looking forward for the next training with her that will be on friday- and then I will give here training in the pool! =)

We worked mostly with the bodyweigth, some dumbbells and medicine ball and focused on the upper body to move it, think about techniques, find balance & stability in the body, and get going the bloodcirculation and feel good! And she did! She had more energy afterwards, didn´t feel any pain in her “injuries” and she felt good. Great!
